2. Scope and general principles
This Privacy Policy applies to BetInsight's public websites, registration, members area, profile functions, tip unlocking, unit management, referral and partner functions, Premium features, wallet management, the unit exchange and related support and payment processes to the extent that they are operated or initiated by LucMedia LTDA.
Personal data is processed only to the extent necessary to provide the platform, perform contracts and payments, manage user accounts and partner assignments, secure the systems or comply with legal obligations.
Depending on the user's location, Brazilian data protection law (LGPD), the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable, and other mandatory privacy laws may apply.
3. Data processed when visiting the website
When the website is accessed, technically necessary access data may be processed. This may include IP address, date and time, pages or files requested, browser and device information, referrer information and technical error or security data.
This processing is used to deliver the website, maintain technical stability, analyse errors, prevent abusive access and protect the platform.
4. Registration, user account and members area
When registering for and using a BetInsight account, the following data may in particular be processed:
- email address and, where provided, first and last name,
- internal user and account identifiers,
- technical access and security identifiers,
- referral code, sponsor and network assignment,
- membership and Premium status, terms and access rights,
- unit balances, unit origin and relevant movements,
- unlocked tips and related transaction or history information.
This data is required to provide the account, manage access rights, assign units correctly, perform unlocks, verify network and Premium eligibility and maintain a traceable platform history.
5. Referral, partner and affiliate data
BetInsight uses personal referral codes so that registrations can be assigned to a referring partner. For this purpose, referral code, sponsor assignment, network level, time of assignment and resulting referral or commission data may be processed.
When external advertising or affiliate links are used, campaign identifiers, referral parameters or comparable tracking information may also be transmitted to the respective third-party provider. Further processing on the destination website is governed by that provider's own privacy terms.
6. Units, tips and internal transaction data
For correct accounting and traceability, BetInsight may process data relating to purchased units, gifted or starter units and units generated through referral systems. This may include purchase or origin batch, remaining balance, consumption, unlocking, reservation, transfer, release for sale and history entries.
When a tip is unlocked, BetInsight may store the user reference, tip identifier, time, unit price and the origin of the consumed units where this is necessary for service delivery, accounting, prevention of duplicate bookings and documentation.
7. Payments and cryptocurrencies
For paid services, payment and transaction data may be processed. Depending on the payment method offered, this may include amount, currency or cryptocurrency, network, payment status, payment identifier, transaction identifier and, where applicable, wallet or blockchain information.
External payment service providers may be used for purchases of BetInsight services. Where Plisio or another crypto payment provider is used, that provider processes the data required for the payment under its own legal and privacy terms.
8. Wallet, unit exchange and transactions between members
If a user stores a wallet or uses functions of the unit exchange, BetInsight may process wallet address, network, offer information, reservation status, buyer/seller assignment, amount, payment fingerprint, TXID and blockchain confirmation data.
Where payments in the unit exchange are sent directly from one member's wallet to another member's wallet, BetInsight uses the necessary data primarily to assign and verify the transaction and to carry out the subsequent internal unit transfer. The blockchain payment itself takes place outside BetInsight's internal database.
9. Premium, network commissions and payouts
For Premium and Premium Plus functions, BetInsight may process tariff, activation, term, renewal, grace or review status, network eligibility, commission accrual, commission status and payout information.
For payout requests, BetInsight may process payout amount, wallet address, network, minimum amount, accepted fees, approval status, payout identifier and TXID. This information is used for eligibility checks, fraud prevention, payout execution and documentation.
10. Language, referral code and local browser storage
BetInsight may use technically necessary browser storage mechanisms such as Local Storage and, where required, cookies. In particular, the selected language and a referral code may be stored so that these settings remain available when navigating between pages.
Protected member areas may also use technically necessary session or access information.
11. Technical service providers
External providers may be used for operation, hosting, automation, registration, data management and payments. Depending on the relevant function, these may include:
- GitHub Pages and GitHub/Microsoft for public website delivery,
- systeme.io for registration, login and member functions,
- Make for automated processes and server-side checks,
- Google services, in particular Google Sheets, for internal system data storage and administration,
- crypto payment providers such as Plisio where used for a specific payment,
- blockchain and infrastructure services used to verify publicly available transaction data.
12. Purposes and legal bases
Depending on the applicable legal framework, processing may in particular be based on steps necessary to enter into or perform a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in a secure and functional platform operation, or consent where consent is legally required.
13. Recipients and disclosure
Personal data is not sold. Data is disclosed only where this is necessary and legally permitted for service delivery, payment processing, technical operation, fraud prevention, compliance with legal obligations or the protection of legitimate interests.
When a user follows a link to an external betting, casino, payment, wallet, VPN or other partner offer, the user may enter into a separate legal relationship with that third party.
14. International data transfers
LucMedia LTDA is based in Brazil. Technical service providers may also operate in different countries. Personal data may therefore be processed or transferred internationally.
Where required by law, appropriate contractual, organisational or other legally recognised safeguards are used for international transfers.
15. Retention period
Personal data is generally retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose. Longer retention may apply where statutory retention, evidence, tax or other legal obligations exist or where data is required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Technical and financial transaction histories may be retained for longer periods for security, accounting and evidentiary purposes.
16. User rights
Depending on the applicable data protection law, users may have rights including confirmation of processing, access, correction, deletion, anonymisation, blocking or restriction, data portability, objection, withdrawal of consent and information about recipients or disclosures.
Requests can be sent to betinsight.club@gmail.com. Any right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority remains unaffected.
17. Security
LucMedia LTDA applies reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against loss, manipulation, unauthorised access and misuse.
18. Minors
Because BetInsight contains sports-betting-related information and may link to gambling providers, the service is intended for adults only.
19. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if legal requirements, technical systems, service providers or BetInsight functions change. The version currently published on the website applies.
